Scholarship Award
St. Mary of Sorrows Knights of Columbus Council #8600 in partnership with the Baker family is pleased to announce we are offering the annual Kelly Elizabeth Baker Memorial Scholarship Award in the amount of $1,500. Applicants must be a 2014 graduating high school senior and a daughter or son of a registered member of St. Mary of Sorrows. The Scholarship is to be used for college tuition. Completed application and related supporting materials to include a grade transcript must be received not later than May 15, 2015 for consideration. Knights of Columbus Scholarships
St. Mary of Sorrows Knights of Columbus Council #8600 is pleased to announce we are offering up to nine $750 scholarships. Applicants must be registered members of St. Mary of Sorrows Parish or a son, daughter, grandchild, or spouse of a wife of Council #8600. Scholarships are to be used for tuition only and are to be used to pursue post-secondary school education. Applications and related materials must be received not later than May 15, 2015 to be considered. in Christ” Scholarship Program
Amigos en Cristo † Friends in Christ”, a St. Mary of Sorrows organization committed to the role of advancement and education in our personal and Christian lives, announces our 2015 “Amigos en Cristo † Friends in Christ” Scholarship Program. This year we will again award scholarships up to $1,000.00 to Hispanics in the Arlington Diocese. Scholarships are to be used for tuition and to pursue post secondary school education. The factors which will be considered in awarding the scholarships are demonstrated leadership, active involvement in civic and/or religious activities, and academic performance. The application must be received not later than May 15, 2015 to be considered.
Father Bader Scholarship
The Knights of Columbus State program is called the Father Bader Scholarship program and is accepting applications at this time until March 31. * The program offers need-based scholarships for Knights, their wives, and widows of Knights who reside in Virginia at death. It also offers scholarship aid to graduating high school seniors who are children of Virginia Knights in good standing. *Applications for high school seniors need to be sent via US Mail and postmarked on or before March 31, 2015.
Applications for need-based scholarships for Knights, their wives and widows of Knights are accepted at any time during the calendar year.
